Let’s Talk About Your

Pelvic Floor

Bladder leaks. Painful periods. Pain with intimacy. And so many more health issues — many of which are attributed as a ‘rite of passage’ with being a woman, when really, they are signs of pelvic floor dysfunction. This dysfunction is completely treatable, but is more often than not ignored.

Your pelvic floor muscles are the muscles responsible for bladder and bowel function, making intimacy enjoyable, supporting your pelvic organs, and are part of a comprehensive musculoskeletal unit involving your core, diaphragm, spine, and hips. As a result, dysfunction in these muscles can present itself in a wide variety of common health conditions.
